Quantum Dots Sensitized ZnO Nanowires Solar Cells

- Abstract
- In this project, solar cell based on CdSe quantum dots sensitized onto ZnO nanowires was well fabricated. The following quantum dot-nanowire linker molecules were used: 3- mercaptoproponic acid (3-MPA) and 2-mercaptoproponic acid (2-MPA). The best solar cell efficiency was observed with 3-MPA linker molecule. Solar cell efficiency for different lengths of ZnO NWs and different sensitization times was also investigated.
