- In the past few decades, the central topic of targeting human development through aid has been given more importance by both international organizations, recipient and donor countries. One of the goals of this study is to investigate how the mutual cooperation between the inflow of Japanese Official Development Assistance (ODA), on one side, and the implementation of the national socio-economic development strategy in Vietnam, on the other, is having effects on human and social development in the latter.
