Abstract
This is an artistic study that aims to investigate the process of audiovisual composing and the experiences of musicians and audience of an audiovisual concert. Four audiovisual pieces were composed for this study and then rehearsed and performed by five musicians. The musicians played with interactive projections reflecting the musical attributes pitch, timbre and loudness. After the concert, three of the musicians and three individuals from the audience were interviewed. The qualitative interviews were open for any reflections the subjects had about the concerts and the audiovisual interplay. Detta är en konstnärlig studie med syfte att undersöka publik och musikers upplevelser under en audiovisuell konsert, samt kompositionsprocessen i arbetet fram till konserten. Fyra audiovisuella stycken har komponerats till denna studie och sedan repats in av fem stycken musiker som medverkade under konserten. Musikerna fick samspela med interaktiva projektioner som ämnade att förstärka och komplettera de musikaliska egenskaperna tonhöjd, klangfärg och dynamik. Efter konserten gjordes sex stycken kvalitativa intervjuer där tre var med individer ur publiken och tre var med musiker som stod på scenen.
