Abstract
An investigation of external factors that contribute to impulse purchases in the fruit- and vegetable sections of grocery stores. Using qualitative methods, semi strutured interviews and observations, and drawing on scientific articles, this study identifies multi-price campaigns as a key driver of impulse purchases, with end cap displays also playing a role. However, no direct correlation is found between store communication actions and impulse buying. Overall, these external factors contribute to the store atmosphere, a significant factor in the shopping experience.
