Abstract (Swedish)
The aim of this study is to explore cultural managers' experiences of organizational culture in the hybrid setting from a symbolic interactionist perspective. It is a qualitative case study conducted within the interpretivist research tradition. We have applied an abductive research approach and collected data through fifteen semi-structured interviews at a single case
organization. Our study has found that cultural managers experienced changes in the underlying interpretive processes of interactions, symbols, rituals, and self- perception. Nonetheless, they did not yet experience a direct threat to the organizational culture. However, they experienced this as a potential future risk.
