Abstract
This study examines the role of creativity in music production education at the upper secondary school level, as well as how project-based learning is used as a pedagogical method within the subject. The study is based on interviews with six high school teachers working in music production. The results show that creativity is a central yet complex part of the teaching. The informants particularly emphasize the importance of
creativity as a motivating factor for students, while not fully agreeing on the extent of to which different types of creativity should be applied. Furthermore, the study shows that clear structures within project-based work, such as time constraints and structured tasks where students often work towards a concrete... (More)

Furthermore, the study shows that clear structures within project-based work, such as time constraints and structured tasks where students often work towards a concrete final product, are key factors for
successful learning outcomes. Finally, the results indicate that the new curriculum, Lgy25, enables and encourages a creative and process-oriented approach compared to previous policy documents. (Less)
Abstract (Swedish)
Denna studie undersöker vilken roll kreativitet spelar i undervisningen i
(More)

(Less)
