Abstract
The Hieracium flora of die famous botanical site Mt. Taberg (prov. Smaland, S. Sweden) was investigated in 2005. This small but steel) mountain is entirely made up of ultrabasic bedrock and leas a very rich flora. Previous investigations (mainly from die period 1880-1930) leave reported 37 species belonging to H. sect. Hieracium and sect. Vulgata (including the "bifidum - group"), including four extremely rare and local species that leave not been refound anywhere in recent years. Thirty species were found in 2005, including 10 species previously not reported from die area, but none of die four possibly extinct species were refound.
