Produktiv användning av mobiltelefoner i instrumentalundervisning. En intervjustudie i fyra lärares syn på mobiltelefoner i skolan

Denna studie syftar till att undersöka hur mobiltelefoner kan användas på ett produktivt sätt i instrumentalundervisningen. Studien har ett kvalitativt forskningsperspektiv och baseras på intervjuer av 4 informanter, alla instrumentallärare på gymnasienivå, med fokus på deras användning av mobiltelefoner samt dess roll i skolan. Studien har också fungerat som en förundersökning av en app för just instrumentalundervisning. Resultaten visar på att de lärare som intervjuats har en positiv syn på användning av mobiltelefoner när det kommer till just instrumentalundervisning, särskilt kamerafunktionen har en nyckelroll i detta sammanhang.
Abstract
This study aims to research how the productive use of mobile phones can benefit instrumental teaching. The study is based on qualitative interviews and was conducted with four informants, instrumental teachers, who were interviewed about their use of mobile phones and its role in school and education. The study has also functioned as a preliminary investigation of how a potential mobile phone app could be designed for instrumental teaching. The results show a unanimous view that is positive to the use of mobile phones in instrumental teaching. The camera function in particular has a key role according to all of the teachers.
