Modelling of the ETH Helicopter Laboratory Process

- This report presents the derivation of a nonlinear model for the ETH helicopter laboratory process. The model is derived using Euler-Lagrange equations together with relations from propeller theory. The model is formulated as a state-space model, which enables straightforward implementation in standard simulation tools such as Simulink (TM). A set of model parameters computed from the ETH process specification is also given.
