Given that culture is characterized by the understanding of people in a society, such understanding in today’s globalized world changes quicly and often, or usually, contains cultural pieces from many different societies. Thus, the question of exactly which cultural properties should form the base of a specific indigenous psychology may well be controversial. (Less)
