Empirical research with this method, the Creative Functioning Test (CFT) has been made since the 70ies in various contexts. The CFT will be described, as well as major parts of the empirical research. The main contexts are: Creativity in children and youngsters, creativity and gender, creativity in researchers and artists, neuropsychological studies of creativity, creativity and personality in university teachers, and creativity in air force pilots at a Swedish wing.
