In 2025 Huminfra, Sweden’s national infrastructure for digital and experimental humanities, entered its second funding period, the consolidation phase, and successfully met all first-year targets.

Second, the consortium organised multiple training events across diverse areas of expertise.
Third, work also began on national Huminfra tools, including a survey to identify a broadly useful tool and clear selection criteria.
Fourth, DARIAH-SE, hosted by Huminfra, became fully operational and conducted a nationwide survey of digital research needs and practices, to be published and acted upon in 2026.
Fifth, Huminfra held its second conference, HiC2025, and published both open-access proceedings and the open-access Huminfra Handbook. Additional communication efforts included monthly newsletters, active social media accounts, and new video materials.

Beyond these milestones, Huminfra continues to strengthen national integration and collaboration across nodes and stakeholders through its multi-node events. Overall, Huminfra has further reinforced Swedish humanities research with an impact extending well beyond the individual deliverables. (Less)
