Serum immunoglobulin concentrations and risk of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults : a prospective cohort study from the TCLSIH study

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a metabolic disorder characterized by hyperglycemia resulting from defects in insulin secretion and/or insulin action. Increasing evidence suggests that inflammation played an important role in the pathogenesis of T2DM.
