quintillo y paisaje : Plastic Extension of Lost summers by Staffan Storm

Chavarria-Aldrete, Bertrand LU orcid (2025)
Abstract
quintillo y paisaje is a visual study of the right hand interacting inside a map of traces issued from the specific right-hand movement inside a section of Lost summers (2013) for guitar by Staffan Storm (1964); activating epistemic consequences on the instrumental performance and the performative body during the creative process.

The work extends on the PhD research thesis "Plastic Extension of Music" (Chavarría-Aldrete, 2025) allowing public to imagine and interact with music from a visual perspective, as a series of emancipative actions for the spectators.

Installation with painting (73x60 cm) and video projector
