Abstract (Swedish)
Airflow between rooms in an apartment is difficult to measure. Tracer gas methods can be used and will give good accuracy when fans are used to create well mixed air in each room. This will however affect the airflow between rooms with open doors. A series of experiments using single source tracer gas in 8 different apartments were performed in Sweden 2017-19. The time dependent concentration of tracer gas in most of the rooms was measured. A model was developed allowing for mixing between all rooms with physical contact. The measurements were used to identify the airflow in the model using non derivative Levenberg Marquardt Optimization. It was found that the estimated accuracy in many cases was rather low, which was expected using a... (More)

The measurements were used to identify the airflow in the model using non derivative Levenberg Marquardt Optimization. It was found that the estimated accuracy in many cases was rather low, which was expected using a single source, but that the estimated airflows could be used to calculate the ventilation efficiency. This would not have been possible with a more intrusive measurement method. (Less)
