Tydliga bedömningsanvisningar på gymnasiet? En studie om musiklärares roll som bedömare
(2018) LAMP72 20181Malmö Academy of Music
- Abstract (Swedish)
- Abstract
- This study examines how music teachers in upper secondary school view the assessment assignment in aspect to the instructions given in the curriculum. The purpose is to find out how music teachers experience clarity in these instructions. It also aims to compare interpretations of knowledge requirements, and open up for discussion about what is important for high quality assessment work. The method used is qualitative focus group discussions to get close to the participants and to hear their experiences in as natural a way as possible. The results show that different teachers make different interpretations of the same words, that music teachers are experiencing discussions between themselves as quality enhancing for assessment and that the... The results show that different teachers make different interpretations of the same words, that music teachers are experiencing discussions between themselves as quality enhancing for assessment and that the clarity of the assessment instructions is not necessarily perceived as making it easier for the teacher. The conclusion is that music teachers interpret the knowledge requirements differently, their perceptions of what is explicit is different, and that the assessment instructions in the curriculum are constructed from a point of view on language that gives an underlying risk for the teachers' professionalism to be trivialized.
