IEA SHC Task 70 / EBC Annex 90 “Low Carbon, High Comfort Integrated Lighting” -Updates of Subtask D
(2025) Healthy Buildings Europe 2025 1. p.836-840- Abstract
- Achieving the dual goals of increasing visual comfort and well-being in the built environment while minimizing resource demand is a significant challenge. Since 2023, Subtask D “Case Studies” of IEA SHC Task 70 / EBC Annex 90 “Low Carbon, High Comfort Integrated Lighting,” has been addressing this challenge head-on. Subtask D aims to advance the wide-scale adoption of environmentally performing daylighting and lighting solutions by showcasing case studies spanning from components to urban areas. This contribution aims to inform on ongoing activities in Subtask D, present the preliminary results, and engage researchers and practitioners to discuss the future of low-carbon, high-quality (day)lighting.
