Abstract
In a society of rapidly increasing complexity, new ways of addressing challenges are required.
As new students entering university today are driven by different motivations than previous generations and call for more innovative approaches to working life, we at the university level must also adapt to this change.

Based on theories of consciousness development and the study-related social environment, the Study and Career Guidance Office at Lund University Faculty of Engineering (LTH), in collaboration with World Values Initiative, has created a new way to welcome incoming students.
