Abstract

Information- and data literacy, the ability to critically examine and evaluate information and arguments in relation to empirical evidence, is increasingly crucial in a world overflowing with data and information from a multitude of sources. Information- and data literacy in younger students being understudied, we investigate these skills in Swedish 6th graders to learn more about the educational challenges. Next, these findings will inform the development of a digital game for data literacy.
